As Bitcoin rallied above $40,000 early Friday, BlackRock's Spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) surpassed $2 billion in assets under management, becoming the first of nine new ETFs to reach that size, excluding Grayscale's GBTC. The total number of BTC held by IBIT reached 49,952.

The next fund to cross the $2 billion mark will likely be Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), which held just under 44,000 BTC as of January 25.
