Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terret said that Ripple is looking for a senior manager position in business development in New York. The job requirements involve "promoting crypto-related ETF plans," or hinting that the company is preparing to apply for an XRP ETF.
Eleanor Terret said that the premise of the spot XRP ETF is the need for a futures ETF. Part of the reason for the approval of the Bitcoin spot ETF is that the SEC concluded that the CME Bitcoin futures market is sufficient to provide monitoring of fraud and manipulation. If a futures XRP ETF could be launched, it would be an important step in the right direction for a spot XRP ETF.
