The Proof of Stake Alliance (POSA) has engaged in talks with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) about the industry-driven standards for Proof of Stake (PoS) protocols.

According to an announcement made on May 14, the POSA met with the SEC to converse on the growing adoption of Proof-of-Stake (PoS) protocols, which are the successor to Bitcoin’s (BTC) Proof-of-Work consensus protocol that is regarded as more efficient and scalable.
