Samsung’s New Quantum 5G Phone Adopted Blockchain Technology

Summary: SK Telecom announced today the release of its quantum security 5G smartphone, Galaxy A Quantum, which was developed with Samsung Electronics and IDQ. Blockchain technology secures the quantum 5G phone with a mobile electronic authentication service. A quantum wallet is automatically generated to safeguard the information when users store personal certificates on the phone.

SK Telecom announced today the release of its quantum security 5G smartphone, Galaxy A Quantum, which was developed with Samsung Electronics and IDQ. Pre-sale begins on May 15 and finishes by May 22 when the phone with the first quantum random number generation chipset will be officially released. The initial price is 649,000 won ($528.7). 

Blockchain technology secures the quantum 5G phone with a mobile electronic authentication service. A quantum wallet is automatically generated to safeguard the information when users store personal certificates on the phone.
