WisdomTree Funds, a prominent ETF issuer with over $113 billion in assets under management, has taken a significant step towards offering an XRP ETF. The firm has recently registered an entity in Delaware, a move that signals its intent to file an S-1 registration with the SEC.

This development comes on the heels of WisdomTree's successful launch of spot bitcoin and ether ETFs on the London Stock Exchange in May. The firm's BTC ETF has already garnered significant investor interest, amassing approximately $367 million in assets.

If approved, the XRP ETF would provide investors with a regulated and convenient way to gain exposure to XRP. The SEC's decision on these filings will be closely watched by the crypto industry, as it could set a precedent for future crypto-related ETFs in the U.S.
