The Federal Reserve's latest meeting minutes have injected some uncertainty into the market's expectations for future rate cuts.

While a 25 basis point rate cut in December is still widely anticipated, the minutes signal a more cautious approach from the Fed.

Some Fed officials expressed concerns about the potential for inflation to remain stubbornly high, suggesting that the central bank may need to pause its rate-cutting cycle if progress on the inflation front stalls.

However, the market is still pricing in a rate cut for December, with CME Group's FedWatch Tool showing a 60% probability. This suggests that while the Fed's tone has become more cautious, the market still expects further monetary easing.
