French Hill once said that if he became the chairman of the Financial Services Committee, he would investigate "Operation Choke Point 2.0" targeting the crypto industry and reverse the hostility of bank regulators to crypto.
He said in the Unchained podcast in July that stablecoins and market structure legislation would be the two bills he most wanted to pass after becoming chairman of the committee.
