Coinbase announced that Horizen is transitioning from the Layer 1 Horizen blockchain to an ERC-20 token based on Base. Coinbase will support the migration and automatically convert ZEN tokens from Layer 1 Horizen to Base, with plans to temporarily disable the Horizen network on July 16 to execute the upgrade.
