In a recent announcement, Space and Time revealed the launch of the Genesis Validator Incentive Program, where participants must stake SXT within 14 days of the mainnet launch and maintain the stake for 9 months. If the stake is partially or fully withdrawn before the 9-month period, eligibility for the program's rewards will be forfeited. Participants will still receive standard validator staking rewards (estimated annual return of 8%), but not the adjusted program rate. After the 9-month period, eligible participants can connect to smart contracts to verify their staking history and claim the adjusted protocol outputs. Qualification verification will utilize SQL proofs and Space and Time's on-chain query technology to read Ethereum historical states. The reward cap for the Genesis Validator Incentive Program is set at 150 million SXT, accounting for 3% of the total token supply. Once 150 million SXT is staked in the program, no additional participants will be accepted even within the 14-day timeframe.
