According to official sources, BNB Chain has announced an upcoming upgrade, with the block gas limit set to increase to 1G in the second half of 2025, supporting 5,000 transactions per second and a 10x increase in throughput. The next-generation BNB Chain will achieve final confirmation time of less than 150 milliseconds, over 20,000 TPS, built-in privacy features at the protocol layer, and has undergone full-stack optimization, including:

- New Rust client: Faster synchronization, higher throughput;

- Super instruction set: Simplifying complex smart contract execution;

- Optimized StateDB: Speeding up access to large amounts of on-chain data.
