In a recent AlphaSense conference call transcript, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon stated that financial technology companies entering the stablecoin space are 'very smart', as they are attempting to create an alternative to traditional bank accounts and enter payment systems and reward programs. Dimon explained, 'JPMorgan Chase must recognize this and the way to do so is to participate, so we will enter this field, continuously learn, and become a part of it.'
