According to reports, Algeria has officially banned all activities related to cryptocurrencies through an amended law, covering everything from holding, trading, mining, to promotion and advertising. The Law No. 25-10 issued on July 24 specifically prohibits the issuance, sale, purchase, holding, use, and promotion of all cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, USDT, and others. The law also categorizes mining activities, the use of digital wallets, and operating cryptocurrency exchanges as criminal offenses.
