According to reports, a British man who gave up searching for a landfill containing 8000 BTC hard drives announced that he will tokenize his lost bitcoins, converting them into 800 billion Ceiniog Coins (INI), locking the value of one satoshi at a 1:1 ratio. Ceiniog Coin will be built on top of Bitcoin; based on OP_RETURN implementation, integrated with Stacks, Runes, and Ordinals; set to launch by the end of 2025.

On May 29, the man also stated that he would tokenize 21% of the lost 8000 BTC wallet into LTT tokens, fundraising $75 million through multiple issuance levels, with the issuance scheduled for October 1 during the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore.

Note: This British man has announced twice that he will tokenize his claimed bitcoins, raising doubts about the authenticity of the project and actual control of the bitcoins. Investors should be aware of related risks.
