According to official announcements, Animoca Brands and its affiliates (collectively Animoca Brands) have completed a strategic investment in NFT brand Cool Cats Group. Following the investment, Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group will have a majority stake in Cool Cats Group. The aim is to promote innovation and growth, enhance community engagement, and explore new market opportunities for Cool Cats in the rapidly evolving NFT space. After the investment, Animoca Brands will appoint two new board members to drive Cool Cats' development: Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu, and Kenneth Shek, project lead for Mocaverse and Moca Network.
