During his 11-year tenure as COO, Ong played a key role in shaping CoinGecko's business strategy, expanding global operations, and enhancing its global influence. TM Lee will focus on advancing long-term product vision and leading R&D projects from zero to one. This transition allows him to refocus on foundational innovation while maintaining strategic continuity.
Additionally, Cedric Chan will be appointed as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading CoinGecko's technical roadmap and infrastructure development. Ho Xingyi will transition from his role as Head of Growth to Product Lead.
