According to official announcement, Acting Chairman Caroline D. Pham of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has announced that CFTC will launch a new crypto sprint program to implement the recommendations of the President's Digital Asset Market Working Group.
Pham stated that promoting instant trading of digital assets at the federal level is a top government priority, and CFTC's plan for listing spot crypto trading is in line with SEC's Project Crypto, responding to President Trump's call. She emphasized that public feedback will help CFTC formulate policies related to leverage, margin, and retail trading.
CFTC also invites industry feedback on the recommendations in the report 'Strengthening US Leadership in Digital Financial Technology'.
