According to reports from Digital Asset, on August 27, victims of the Delio scam held a rally in front of the National Assembly building in Seoul's Yeongdeungpo-gu district, expressing anger over organized fraud and calling for the establishment of a 'Special Law on Organized Fraud'. Victim A stated that she entrusted 2.5 BTC to Delio but was unable to retrieve it. During the rally, Rep. Cho Bae-sook of the People Power Party emphasized that the current judicial system is ineffective in handling economic crimes, leading to numerous victims. She pledged to push for the passage of the 'Special Law on Organized Fraud' to strengthen penalties for fraudulent activities and provide relief for victims. The event was organized by Rep. Cho's office and the National Fraud Prevention Association of South Korea, attracting many victims and stakeholders.
