The company's founder and CEO Warren Wheatley stated that Altvest will be renamed as 'Africa Bitcoin Corp.' and is currently raising funds from local and overseas investors, while also planning to seek international listing. Its subsidiary, Altvest Bitcoin Strategies Pty Ltd., will provide related crypto services on behalf of CAEP Asset Managers Pty Ltd., authorized by the South African Financial Sector Conduct Authority.
