According to official sources, the US SEC Cryptocurrency Working Group announced that a public roundtable meeting on financial regulation and privacy will be held on Friday, October 17 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the SEC headquarters. Following previous events such as the Spring Accelerate Clarity Series Roundtable Meetings on Cryptocurrency, the President's Executive Order on Digital Assets, and the President's Digital Assets Working Group report, Commissioner Hester M. Peirce instructed the Cryptocurrency Working Group to take additional measures to protect economic freedom and promote US leadership in the digital asset and fintech sectors. The Financial Regulation and Privacy Roundtable Meeting aims to discuss technologies that protect individual privacy and delve into policies related to financial regulation. The roundtable meeting is open to the public and will be held at the SEC headquarters at 100 F Street, Washington, DC.
