According to reports from The Block and multiple sources, cryptocurrency asset management company Grayscale has submitted multiple filings to the SEC, covering spot ETF proposals for Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Hedera (HBAR): LTC and BCH aim to convert existing trusts into ETFs in S-3 form, while HBAR has submitted an S-1 registration and simultaneously filed a 19b-4 rule change with the exchange to apply for listing. The above products are all pending SEC approval, with HBAR's progress recently delayed to November 12. Grayscale stated that this move aims to expand the coverage of spot crypto ETFs from Bitcoin and Ethereum to more mainstream assets; ultimately, whether they can be listed depends on dual approval of the 19b-4 and registration documents.
