According to Bloomberg, senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas revealed that the DOGE ETF DOJE is scheduled to launch this Thursday, along with the 40 Act physical XRP ETF XRPR (both included in the same effective prospectus). Also included are Trump and Bonk, but their launch dates have not been announced yet.
The Rex-Osprey DOGE physical ETF (code name DOJE) is issued under the 1940 Investment Company Act, similar to SSK. A large number of projects under the 1933 Securities Act are still awaiting approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This is likely the first intentionally holding ETF of assets with no actual utility in U.S. history.
