In recent days ETH briefly reached a high of $253 before dropping back to it's consolidation range between $235 and $246, as reported by Ambcrypto.

In the hours before hitting $253 ETH, the coin's Token Aged Consumed, a metric which helps to track the movement of tokens, had reached a two-month high, according to data from Santiment.

Past patterns have shown that a bump in Token Aged Consumed signals a new bottom for ETH, but the coin's ability to hold within it's consolidation range even after falling from $253 may prevent a significant drop.
