Many Bitcoin miners in China recently claimed that their bank accounts were frozen, per local media Jinse Finance. 

A key reason may be local police’s strict scrutinization of telecom frauds these days. As Over-The-Counter (OTC) trades of USDT is a frequently hit area of laundering embezzled money from those frauds, those Bitcoin miners’ accounts may have been frozen due to doubts about potential money laundering. 

One anonymous miner from Sichuan province, China, said he contacted the police and proved his account irrelevant to money laundering. The account was recovered shortly.
