Two organizations in the United Kingdom launched a new system to to detect and remove scam ads related to crypto fraud, as reported by The Telegraph.

The United Kingdom Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the Internet Advertising Office (IAB) are behind the overhaul in scam monitoring.

A likely catalyst for the new regulations is a report from The Financial Conduct Authority  a UK watchdog  last year that claimed that $255 million was lost to crypto-related and other investment scams in 2018.
