Ethereum is showing slight but consistent improvements through the months of April and May, a new Coinmetrics report shows.

Ethereum has seen a rise in addresses holding some Ether since the March 12 crash, which could be attributed to the fast-approaching launch of Ethereum 2.0.

The network has also seen a rise in daily active addresses and transactions over the past several weeks. These metrics place ETH on par with BTC while other coins like BCH and LTC lag behind.

However, there has also been a significant rise in daily fees singnalling network congestion. The two mistaken $2.6 million transaction fees could also be weighing into the data.
