The second largest bank in the U.S., Bank of America, has been secretly testing out Ripple’s distributed ledger technology and may utilize this technology in the future, according to CoinDesk.

Ripple had identified Bank of America as a customer in a seminar last year. While Bank of America has been a member of the steering group that advises on rules and standards for Ripplenet, a Ripple spokesperson has confirmed that the two companies have done a pilot together.
