Blockchain protocol Secret Network has plans to add privacy-based secret contracts to its mainnet which will be implemented on September 15 pending community approval, according to a recent announcement.

The update will allow developers to build and deploy private smart contracts utilizing encrypted inputs and outputs. Secret Network is building connections with Ethereum and other networks to provide access to the service.

The new secret contracts keep data hidden from all parties, including nodes executing the contracts. Anyone can use their private data, without revealing the raw data.
