Ripple has launched a new Line of Credit service available to RippleNet customers. The service allows customers to use the on-demand liquidity service to source capital and initiate payments using native XRP tokens, according to a recent announcement.

The company stated that the goal is for the new service to simply access financial solutions to foster the growth of businesses and help them to perform better.

RippleNet General Manager Asheesh Birla noted in a tweet that the new service was in response to customers who said that access to capital was the largest barrier to growth. Ripple customers who use the on-demand liquidity service can purchase XRP from Ripple on credit and will be charged a single fee on the amount borrowed.
