Blockcap, a Bitcoin mining company based in Texas, has raised $75 million from two rounds of financing, Foundry Digital and Off The Chain contributed in the round.

The mining company was founded in 2020 by a group of blockchain veterans. It has purchased 42,000 ASIC miners from Bitmain and Canaan Technology, of which 12,000 are in operation. The deployment of the remaining miners will help the company to enhance the hash rate to over 3.5 EH/s.

Blockcap stated that it currently accounts for nearly 1% of all Bitcoin online transactions.
