According to Bloomberg News, Norwegian Finance Minister Jan Tore Sanner said in an interview that Bitcoin will end its current high volatility at some point and experience a period of "breakthrough".

However, Sanner does not recommend consumers to enter this market. He said that he cannot see crypto assets becoming mainstream before they are properly regulated, and cryptocurrencies are usually the target of criminals. 

Earlier this week, the Norwegian Ministry of Finance announced stricter registration requirements for cryptocurrency service providers as part of new measures to combat money laundering.
