Following the postponement of VanEck and Kryptoin Bitcoin ETFs, it is no surprise that the SEC postponed its decision on the WisdomTree Bitcoin ETF, according to a public document.
The SEC asked the public and industry experts to provide feedback on whether WisdomTree's ETF is a security product for investors.
The questions also include whether the ETF is susceptible to manipulation and how to protect it from fraudulent activities.
The SEC stated that comments must be submitted within three weeks after the document is published in the Federal Register and a rebuttal must be submitted within seven weeks.
As of today, the US regulator has not approved any Bitcoin ETF.
