According to CoinDesk, decentralized finance platform Centrifuge has appointed former Goldman Sachs Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) executive Jürgen Blumberg as Chief Operating Officer, also serving as Chief Investment Officer of its affiliate Anemoy. Blumberg brings over 20 years of capital market experience from institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Schroders, and BlackRock. Centrifuge is currently focused on tokenizing investment products, with a total locked value on the platform exceeding $760 million, including a $400 million tokenized US Treasury bond fund issued in collaboration with Anemoy. The platform has recently expanded its product line, launching a blockchain version of the S&P 500 index and partnering with asset management firm Janus Henderson to issue a tokenized credit loan obligation fund.
