According to reports from DigitalAsset, the representative of South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bitsonic has been sentenced to 6 months in prison for his involvement in a 100 million KRW fraud case. Previously, the representative had been sentenced to 7 years in prison for another fraud case. This latest fraud involved manipulating trading volume and market value of Bitsonic Coin (BSC) through false announcements, deceiving customers into a total of 160 million KRW.
