Chainlink has officially launched Data Streams service, providing sub-second low-latency price data for US stocks and ETFs such as SPY, QQQ, AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, covering 37 blockchain networks. The service aggregates data from multiple sources through a decentralized oracle network, supporting developers to build tokenized stock trading platforms, perpetual contracts, and synthetic ETFs. Leading DeFi protocols like GMX and Kamino Finance have started integrating this technology for developing lending and yield strategies based on US stocks. Chainlink plans to further expand data support to include commodities, forex, and OTC markets, increase stock and ETF coverage, and introduce developer SDK and more detailed contextual data functions. This aims to accelerate the migration of traditional financial assets to the blockchain, boost the development of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) market, with the market size expected to exceed $30 trillion by 2030.
