According to Jinshi's report, Bank of America's global fund manager survey in July showed that US Treasury Secretary Yellen is the most popular candidate to succeed Fed Chair Powell.

President Trump is expected to nominate a new Fed Chair in the second half of 2025, as Powell's term will end in May 2026.

The survey found that 26% of respondents believe Yellen will become the next Fed Chair, followed by 17% supporting Walsh, 14% supporting Waller, and 7% believing Hassett will be elected.
