According to Jinshi News, Citigroup strategist Jason Williams stated in a report that Citigroup has slightly updated its year-end yield level forecasts for US Treasuries, but remains confident in its long-term forecast for the 10-year Treasury yield. The institution still expects the 10-year US Treasury yield to reach 4.10% by year end, consistent with forecasts since last year. However, Citigroup has moderately updated other benchmarks to better align with its view of a steeper curve and lower policy rate expectations for 2026. Citigroup's new basic forecasts for the two-year US Treasury yield is 3.50%; five-year Treasury yield is 3.65%, and 30-year Treasury yield is 4.70%.
